I generally request a payment of 50% upfront before I begin work. You can then check you’re satisfied with the finished product before handing over the final 50%.

Note the first 50% is non-refundable due to my labour costs. However if you decide you do not want the website before handover, the final 50% payment can be cancelled at any time.

Absolutely! I use a software called WordPress to build your website, this enables easy updating. The text especially is just like updating a Microsoft Word document but online.

Images sometimes can be challenging, but I’m happy to update these for a minimal fee (sometimes free if its just the odd one you want changing).

In context the majority of websites only begin appearing on Google under your own company name after 4 weeks of launch.

In terms of appearing first in your chosen niche for example ‘builder in Barnsley’ – it depends on your competition, but this can take months/years to achieve unless you look at paid advertisements or SEO.

However the majority of standard websites will not become the next Amazon/eBay. These type of websites required thousands of hours of work just to get the website launched and have a team of developers to keep the website running smoothly.
